Large Utensil Bag
The Kamchatka Gear Large Utensil Bag is made to effectively store and organize your larger camping utensils. The bag keeps all of these items together and separate from all of your other kitchen/cooking gear. It will fit sheathed knives, spatulas, pot scrapers, peelers, whisks, ladles, serving spoons, and whatever other cooking and serving utensils you take with you on the road or trail. All of your cooking utensils will be in one place, so the days of digging through all of your gear just to find the spatula are gone.
The Large Utensil Bag’s heavy-duty synthetic cargo mesh construction means that you can put damp utensils inside and not have to worry about them staying wet, rusting, or getting moldy. As a result, your utensils will dry faster and last longer. The bag’s double-stitched seams mean that the bag itself will last a long time too. A webbing loop at the top of the bag lets you use a length of cord or a carabiner (not included) to hang the bag from a table, chair, tree, or your vehicle to keep your utensils out of the way yet within reach. A drawstring closure ensures that your larger utensils stay safe and secure in the bag and don’t fall out when you don’t want them to.
How do I use the Large Utensil Bag? I keep two sheathed knives (one large and one small), a spatula, a butter knife, a long-handled spoon, a pot scraper, a can opener, and a potato peeler inside. (Most of my eating utensils are in a separate pouch.) I then place the bag into the larger plastic bin that I use for the rest of my kitchen supplies (stove, fuel canisters, pots, plates, etc.).
